Each person who desires to apply for permanent residency in Costa Rica, as a retiree, will have to submit proof that him and/or his spouse receives a permanent pension totaling at least a thousand American dollars per month (US$ 1000).
IMMIGRATION FOR INVESTORS
In the case where you would like to acquire permanent residency as an investor, you will have to show proof that you intend on investing at least US$200,000.00.
IMMIGRATION FOR ANNUITANT
Foreign nationals with a regular annuity from abroad of US $ 30,000 per year are allowed to submit a demand for permanent residence in Costa Rica.
