The following is an example procedure leading to obtaining a permission (residence permit) in Ireland under the financially independent applicant:
Initial consultation: The first step of the process consists of organizing a meeting with you and taking this opportunity to provide you with useful information on the immigration programs in Ireland. We will be able to evaluate your situation and address any questions you may have regarding your immigration to Ireland, should it concern corporation, taxation, bank account opening, medical care, education or real estate. Our include support with visa and residency applications, family member inclusion, guidance on compliance with Irish regulations, and ongoing assistance with renewals and status updates. We also assist clients in exploring Ireland’s business and investment opportunities, providing valuable insights on property acquisition and more.
Document legalization: Following the consultation, a dedicated point of contact of our team will be regularly in contact with you. We will share with you a plan with all the steps of the process and a list of documents for you to begin to prepare. We will help you prepare, legalize and translate in English all the required documentation for your immigration visa and permission in Ireland.
Administrative formalities: For your immigration in Ireland, you will have to justify a regular and long-term accommodation for your stay. Our collaborators will be pleased to help you find a property for rent or for purchase in Ireland. Based on your preferences, needs, budget and personal requests, we will present a set of properties for you to choose from and visit. Naturally, we will be present during each step of this procedure and review the documents leading to the transaction of either the rental or of acquisition of a property. Additionally, as part of the main requirements, you will have to subscribe to a private medical insurance and possess it during the entire length of the stay in Ireland. Several insurance brokers will propose various plans that are approved by the Irish immigration department and that are suitable for your needs.
Application for a permission: Once your application file is complete and ready to be submitted, we will compile all your documents and forms and submit it to the Domestic Residence and Permissions Division.
In the event that your application is approved, you will receive a Conditional Letter for Offer and an Agreement Form from the Domestic Residence and Permissions Division. With the received documents, you will be able to present an application for a long-stay D-Reside immigration visa.
If you are granted a long-stay D-Reside immigration visa from Ireland, you can then travel to the country and validate your stay by sending the signed Agreement Form, the Conditional Letter of Offer and your original passport to the Domestic Residence and Permissions Division. Your original passport will then be returned to you with a stamp. As a final step, you will have to register your permission at your local registration office responsible for your residence area.
At Inimex, we closely monitor today’s global situation while anticipating future developments and changes. This allows us to provide guidance to our clients by recommending new ways to optimize their global movements. After all, diversifying various residence permits from different locations can only contribute to the enhancement of your movements. Possessing two residence permits from any Schengen member country, for instance from France and another one from Ireland-UK, allows you to reach new goals and optimize your travels with the help of our team. Holding a residence permit from a European country gives you the right to freely travel within the Schengen member countries. However, it does not grant the possibility to travel to the United Kingdom and to Ireland. For this reason, we encourage our clients to obtain for example a French or Andorra residence permit in addition to the Irish one, making it more convenient and accessible.
