LAWS AND REGULATIONS:

Immigration Law (Imigrācijas likums)

CONDITIONS:

  1. Purchase a property of a value of 250,000 EUR or more in Latvia;
  2. Pay 5% of the real estate purchase value to the government budget.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  1. Completed applications forms;
  2. Recent photo ID, 35×45;
  3. Passport and ID card (copy of identification pages);
  4. Birth certificate;
  5. Marriage certificate;
  6. Purchase contract;
  7. Documents confirming the payment of the total real estate value have been made through a Latvian bank. The buyer must not ask for a loan and the payment cannot be paid in cash;
  8. Documents confirming the payment of government fee;
  9. Documents confirming you have and never had real estate tax debts.

IMMIGRATION PROCESS:

  1. We will provide you a consultation regarding: the process of immigration to Latvia, the procedures of obtaining a Latvian residence permit, questions related to education, insurance, integration, healthcare, administrative and other aspects associated with your move to Latvia;
  2. Signature of the agreement;
  3. You will have to prepare and legalize the required documents;
  4. We have a team of sworn translators who are responsible for translating all the documents into Latvian;
  5. We will assist you with opening a bank account in Latvia, finding and purchasing a property in Latvia;
  6. After the purchase of your property, you will have to pay 5% of the total value to the government budget;
  7. We will submit your application to the Consulate of Latvia to obtain a Latvian immigration visa;
  8. After your arrival to Latvia, you will obtain a residence permit in Latvia, valid for five (5) years;
  9. After living in Latvia for five (5) years, you can obtain a residence permit valid for ten (10) years;
  10. You may sell your property after a period of five (5) years.

FAMILY:

The members of your family will be included in the immigration process. They must submit documents confirming kinship. Therefore, they will obtain a residence visa during your stay in Latvia.

LATVIAN CITIZENSHIP:

After living in Latvia for a period of five (5) years, your family and you are eligible to apply for Latvian citizenship.

CONDITION

Purchase a real estate in Spain worth at least 500,000.

APPLICATION PACKAGE

  1. Completed application forms in two (2) copies;
  2. Two recent photo ID, 35×45 mm;
  3. Birth certificate;
  4. Marriage certificate (if applicable);
  5. Passport and identity card (copies of all identification pages);
  6. Health insurance coverage in Spain;
  7. Evidence of sufficient means of substance during your stay in Spain (2 130/single applicant and an additional of 532 for every dependent);
  8. Medical certificate attesting you do not carry a contagious or a severe disease;
  9. Police certificate of good conduct for the last five (5) years prior to the submission of your application;
  10. Real estate purchase certificate worth of at least 500,000 in Spain.

IMMIGRATION PROCESS

  1. We will provide you a consultation regarding: the process of immigration to Spain, the procedures of obtaining a residence permit, questions related to education, insurance, integration, healthcare, administrative and other aspects associated with your move to Spain;

  8. You will obtain an immigration national Spanish visa (entry to Spain only);
  9. You will be able to arrive to Spain and receive your first resident card, valid for one (1) year and is renewable twice for two (2) years each;
  10. After living in Spain for five (5) years, your family and you are eligible to apply for a permanent residency card, which is valid ten for (10) years.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  1. You must purchase the property within 90 days before submitting your application;
  2. You can sell your property after receiving your permanent residency card and living in Spain for five (5) years.

FAMILY MEMBERS

The members of your family (spouse and children) are be included in the immigration process to Spain and will obtain a residence permit for one (1) year.

You may grant Spanish citizenship after legally residing for a continuous period of ten (10) years.

CONDITIONS

  1. Acquisition of real estate in Portugal with a value equal to or above 500,000 EUR, OR
  2. Capital transfer with a value equal to or above 1,000,000 EUR, OR
  3. Creation of at least 10 job positions, OR
  4. To buy property in Portugal for refurbishing, with construction dating back more than 30 years, for a total value equal to or above 350,000 EUR; OR
  5. Invest 350,000 EUR  in research activities conducted by public or private scientific research institutions involved in the national scientific or technological system;  OR
  6. Invest 250.000 EUR in artistic output or supporting the arts, for reconstruction or refurbishment of the national heritage, through the local and central authorities, public institutions, public corporate sector, public foundations, private foundations of public interest, OR
  7. Invest 500,000 EUR in investment funds or in venture capital geared to capitalize small and medium companies
  8. Performing an investment for a minimum period of five (5) years attested by a declaration signed by the applicant.

APPLICATION PACKAGE

  1. Form must be filled out,
  2. A recent ID photo, color, 35×45 mm,
  3. Passport and ID card (copy of its identification page(s)),
  4. Criminal record certificate from the relevant authorities of the applicant’s home country or from any other country where the applicant resided for over one (1) year,
  5. Certificate of birth, marriage (if applicable),
  6. Comprehensive health insurance covering when in the territory of Portugal
  7. Confirmation documents to show sufficient funds: a reference from a Portugal bank, professional income, proof of pension, or any other proof that establishes that you have sufficient financial resources
  8. Certificate of non-bankruptcy.

Immigration program “Investment of 500,000 EUR to real Estate in Portugal”

Evidence of the purchase, public deed, a certificate issued by the Real Estate registry.

Immigration program “Investor”

Evidence of having invested at least 1,000,000 EUR.

Immigration program “Creation 10 jobs positions”

Evidence of having created 10 jobs positions in Portugal and registered the employees in the Social Security.

IMMIGRATION PROCESS

  1. Consultation regarding immigration to Portugal, education, medical, administration and all other questions,
  2. Signature of the Agreement,
  3. You will prepare, legalize and Apostillised all necessary documents and send them to us,
  4. Our translator will translate all documents into Portuguese,
  5. You need to come to Portugal in order to open a bank account and/or buy a property,
  6. We will prepare your immigration file,
  7. Applying the immigration file to an Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) or at the Portuguese Consular Service,
  8. You will need to pass a private interview, medical exam, pay related government fees,
  9. A residence card will now be provided – proof of your legal residence status in Portugal
  10. During the first year: exchange of your driver licence
  11. Your first residence permit is valid for a period of one (1) year, then must be renewed twice for two (2) years,
  12. Permanent residence card is valid for 10 years and issued to a foreigner that has lived in Portugal after five (5) years,
  13. There is minimum stay of seven (7) days, whether consecutive or not, for the first year and 14 days for the following two (2) years,
  14. It is possible to apply for Portuguese citizenship if you have been residing lawfully in Portugal for a minimum of six (6) years.

FAMILY

The holders of residence card for investment activity may apply for family reunification.

CITIZENSHIP

For a successful application you must have resided in Portugal for at least six (6) years and pass language test.

BENEFITS OF THE RESIDENCE PERMIT IN ANDORRA

ANDORRA: CONDITIONS

Andorran immigration involves certain precautionary measures, to ensure that prospective immigrants are serious about moving to Andorra. To move to Andorra, you must:

  1. Open a bank account in bank on the territory of Andorra and transfer:
    1. Either €436 000 at one time, or 86 000, if you apply alone followed by an additional investment outlined below;
    2. Either €448 000 at one time, or €110 000 if you apply with your spouse, followed by an additional investment outlined below;
    3. Either €460 000 at one time, or 130 000 if you apply with your spouse and child, followed by an additional investment outlined below; 
  2. From the aforementioned amount you have to deposit €50 000 for the principal applicant and €10 000 for each each dependent to the bank account of Ministry of Finance of Andorra (fully refundable upon departure);
  3. During the six (6) following months after obtaining an Andorran residence permit, you will be expected to invest in real estate in Andorra or Government bonds as follows:
    1. ___€350 000, if you apply alone;
    2. ___€340 000, if you apply with your spouse;
    3. ___€330 000, if you apply with your spouse and child;
  4. The funds remaining are for you to support yourself and your family, 300 % of the minimum salary for principal applicant and 100% of the minimum salary for each dependent, which you can spend it as you wish:
    1. ___€36 000, if you apply alone;
    2. ___€48 000, if you apply with your spouse;
    3. ___€60 000, if you apply with your spouse and child.

ANDORRA: APPLICATION PACKAGE

  1.  Application forms: Sol-licitud d’autoritzacio de residencia, compromis, signatura del sol-licitant, declaracio jurada;
  2. A recent color ID photo, 35×45 mm;
  3. Passport and ID card (copy of its identification page(s));
  4. Certificate of birth, marriage (if applicable);
  5. An original police certificate dated not more than three (3) months prior to the submission of the application;
  6. Comprehensive health insurance covering all risks on the territory of Andorra;
  7. Confirmation documents to show sufficient funds: a reference letter from the bank, professional or business income, pension or any other proof that establishes that you have sufficient financial resources;
  8. Company registration certificate (if applicable);
  9. Vaccination book for children under 14 years old;
  10. Education documents;
  11. Registration of your child in an Andorran school;
  12. Certificate of non-bankruptcy;
  13. A property ownership deed or a lease contract in Andorra;
  14. Transfer proof of the amount of €50 000 (principal applicant) and an additional €10 000 (each dependant) to the Ministry of Finance bank account. Additional documents may be required.

ANDORRA: IMMIGRATION PROCESS

  9. After the approval by the Department of Immigration of Andorra you will receive a residence card, valid two (2) years, with possibility of renewal;
  10. During the first years of living in Andorra you will be able to exchange your foreign driving license;
  11. Permanent residence card is valid for ten (10) years and is issued to a foreigner who has lived in Andorra for at least seven (7) years.

ANDORRA: FAMILY MEMBERS

Your spouse and children until the age of 18, are included in the application and will obtain the same immigration status and an Andorran Residence Card. Children under 25 years old may be included in the application if they are full time students.

ANDORRA: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  1. The government of Andorra maintains a quota for immigration each year;
  2. In order to keep your residence permit, you must live in Andorra at least 3 months out of 12 months:
  3. The residence permit you will obtain gives you the right to live in Andorra, however it does not allow you to work;
  4. Property acquisition tax – 4%;
  5. Corporate tax – 10%;
  6. An indirect tax (VAT) – 4.5%.

ANDORRA: CITIZENSHIP 

  1. It is possible to apply for Andorran citizenship after ten (10) years of living in Andorra and if you have graduated from an Andorran education establishment, or after twenty (20) years of living in Andorra;
  2. A child born in Andorra acquires Andorran citizenship if the parents legally reside in Andorra.
